I was told when I adopted him that Buddy was a German shepherd/Husky mix, but I wonder if he may instead be a Garaffian Shepherd. Regardless, Buddy is the best tempered dog I have ever had the pleasure of owning. He is food, play and attention responsive/motivated, a quick learner, eager to please, naturally "pack"/famiky oriented, emotionally intuitive, sweet with most kids and small animals (though excitable haha), and overall an incredible family dog. His sense of when to let his energy out vs when to behave and be calm in the house is absolutely mindblowing.
I would love to find him a large working or guardian breed girlfriend, such as another shepherd, or an akita, malinois, pyrenees etc.
